Desert of Shame (Warrior Princess Series)

RosesAnd Rhinos.Blogspot.com
Defeat’s salty tears sting as they flow over scars from the past. Reminders of failed attempts – my lack – bring me to the Desert of Shame. I didn’t need to go “there,” but I didn’t know where else to go. I’ve failed so often! How could The King possibly want me to be His ambassador?

The King Knows My Heart (Warrior Princess series)

Dear friend in the faith,
I am pressed for time all around, but as there is one more Truth I learned in the recent Desert of Shame, I wanted to make sure it was sent by messenger before the next battle begins.

Sorrowful Repentance is Good (Warrior Princess Series)

RosesAndRhinos.Blogspot.com Jesus makes us Beautiful and Strong
Greetings, dear friends. I trust my last letter was delivered to you. Many battles and narrow paths kept me from writing earlier. I have only a few moments to write now, but do not want to tarry any longer, lest you fear something troubling has happened to me.

I committed to share some lessons Abba our King has revealed, which are not new to many I’m sure, but were made more sure in my heart and mind when The King sent Word to me. I remember an awful shame, fear, and sadness coming over me in the Desert of Shame. I believe I mentioned this briefly in my first letter, but I did not elaborate as the letter was long enough and I needed to be on my way.

Trust in The Lord (Warrior Princess Series)

Greetings, dear friends. I’m taking a break from my journey to share some truths our Beloved King shared with me recently, as promised.

I certainly hope that you are not disappointed by what I will share, as maybe you’ve already learned these truths. They are from old, and I’ve seen these words many times. Still, until The King opened my eyes, I was unable to perceive the fullness. That said, I beg your indulgence if you have already learned this in your daily training.

I have a mighty Prince who fights for me. (Warrior Princess Series)

Imagine with me a sword fight – to the death – between Peasant and the powerful Dark Knight. Peasant wouldn’t stand a chance, would he?

The Warrior Princess lives by faith in Jesus. (Warrior Princess series)

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
It's pretty amazing, that our lives are all wrapped up (clothed) in Christ. I’m in awe that He lives in me, transforming me, and using my messy life for His glory. Wow!

Peace beyond comprehension (Warrior Princess Series)

May our Prince of Peace strengthen you through His Word today!
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

Lessons about contentment, peace, and trust are everywhere in my life right now. Maybe some of the increased frequency is due to Thanksgiving? Regardless, The Lord's been training me on these for a LONG TIME. Maybe I have a thick bunker-grade skull? Whatever the reason, let’s just say that this Warrior Chick has a long way to go in those areas. So, what better topic to delve into for study and share? Ha!

Christ lives in you, Warrior Princess.

Welcome, Warrior Princess. May your Prince strengthen you through His Word today!

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
Christ lives in the Warrior Princess.
Just as in the beginning, all was created in and through Jesus (John 1:3), so it is in our lives. Everything is done by, in and through Him (John 1:12-13). It is because Christ is in us that we are righteous (Romans 8:10).

I am a Warrior Princess. I will remember. I will celebrate! (Warrior Princess Series)

Welcome, Warrior Princess. May our Prince strengthen you through His Word today!
"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave Himself up for me."

First, I implore you, Warrior Princess, remember from whence you came!
You once were a slave to sin. A prisoner of death, doomed to destruction and loneliness. Your future was bleak, desolate, and hopeless. Eph 2:1 This is not pleasant to ponder, but we must remember.

The Story of the Warrior Princess

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." - Galatians 2:20 [We’ll be staying on this verse a few days. There’s so much to dwell on here.]
It calls the Warrior Princess to actions which I don’t like to think about.
Crucified? Sounds painful.
No longer I who live? Ok, that’s just crazy talk. I’m uncomfortable and nervous. What about my desires, dreams, friends and family? My money? My talents? My time? My hurts and fears?
Everything??? Yes, everything. A Warrior Princess of the Most High Kingdom must give up all of her rights. She has no other option.
Why? Maybe you know her story, for it is the story of all Warrior Princesses.
